Positions panel (botradix.com)#
The Positions panel gathers the activity of your Quant and Grid bots and your Uniswap positions, refreshed every few seconds:
- Open positions with unrealized PnL.
- Realized PnL for today, this month and in total, with a monthly archive.
- Grouping by strategy, venue or market.
- Net and gross results: a result is shown as gross while its fees or funding are still being confirmed, and as net once all costs are known.
- Positions closed outside BotRadix are labelled external close.
- You can hide entries from your view; the audit record is kept.
- Optional sound alerts.
Trash: close and remove an open position#
In the All open positions list, the trash button of a Quant or Grid bot position closes it at market and removes it from BotRadix. It is not a new trading path: it does the same as Close full position at market in the Quant section or Close inventory in the Grid section.
- Before you confirm, BotRadix queries the venue and shows you what will happen: the side, quantity, estimated PnL and estimated fee. Nothing is sent until you confirm.
- Quant: the full market close is sent; once the venue confirms the position at 0, it is removed from the BotRadix record. The bot keeps running and that pair starts again from zero.
- Grid: the Grid stops and its inventory is closed at market; its configuration is only removed once the venue confirms the position at 0. The trade history is kept.
- If the position no longer exists on the venue (it was closed outside BotRadix), no order is sent: BotRadix checks again before removing it and, if the position reappears, nothing is removed. That PnL is not added to the history.
- Cases the panel does not handle: if a position can only be managed from its own section (for example, some closed outside BotRadix), the window tells you so and does nothing; close it from /Quant or /Grid.
- A market order may fill at a different price because of slippage and pays the venue's fees; on Uniswap, the sale stays within your configured maximum slippage and pays the BotRadix fee and gas.
- Keep the panel open while it is processing. If a step needs your action or fails, the panel explains it and does not treat the position as closed.
Charts#
Each bot and market has a chart that marks entries, DCA steps, reductions and closes, with the average price, the profit target, net PnL, the fee of each fill and, for synthetic pairs, the ratio. A measuring tool helps read distances and percentages.
DEX history and export#
In the DEX terminal, the history lists your closed positions and liquidations with full detail, and can be exported to CSV or XLSX (up to 10,000 rows). The export includes, for each position: open and close dates (UTC), market, side, margin mode, leverage, size, entry and exit prices, PnL, funding, fees, net result, status, position ID and transaction hash.
All DEX activity is also recorded on chain and can be verified on BaseScan.
How results are calculated#
- Quant: the result of each closed position, from execution prices, minus trading fees; funding is booked as a cost in net PnL.
- Grid: an average-cost inventory per asset. Each reduction realizes (price − average cost) × quantity, minus fees.
- DEX: realized PnL is calculated by the contracts at the oracle price, capped by the position's maximum profit, with fees and funding shown separately.
