## DEX fees at a glance

| Cost | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Opening fee, taker | **0.06%** of position size | Market, stop and limit orders without maker status |
| Opening fee, maker | **0.03%** of position size | Limit orders checked against a valid price, unable to execute and left resting. A limit order placed while the market is closed or without a valid price pays taker on its first execution; after a partial fill, its remainder may pay maker |
| Closing fee | **None** | No protocol fee to close, fully or partly. The current code allows up to 0.10%, shown as an estimate before you sign; auto-deleveraging, exits, emergencies and liquidations never pay it |
| Funding | Up to **0.03% per 8 h** (current operational policy; the contract allows at most ±1%) | Paid or received; see [Funding](https://docs.botradix.com/funding/) |
| BotRadix service fee | **0.03%** of position size, on opens and increases | Charged by the contracts only with your valid signed consent (recipient, maximum and expiry), which the terminal requests once. If the fee exceeds your permission, the open is rejected. Never on closes, TP/SL or liquidations. The current code caps it at 0.20% |
| Resting order bond | **0.025 USDC** per resting entry order | Refunded when the order terminates, including cancellation or invalidation. Adjustable v2.2 reference value; the code caps it at 1 USDC |
| Keeper execution of resting orders and TP/SL | **0.10 USDC** per execution, at most 10 USDC per day | Only if you granted the execution permission (see below). Backend defaults, configurable within your signed permission |
| Liquidation (isolated) | The position's remaining margin (v2.2 reference value; penalty adjustable between 0% and 100%) | Split 90% to the vault and 10% to the BAQ reserve. Cross liquidations carry no additional penalty; see [Liquidation](https://docs.botradix.com/liquidation/) |
| Network gas | Mostly paid by the protocol | See the gas table below |

The protocol opening fee rounds up to the smallest USDC unit and, with the v2.2 reference parameters, is split 90% to the liquidity vault and 10% to the BAQ reserve (BAQ share adjustable between 0% and 50%). This split excludes the service fee, calculated separately and paid to its configured recipient.

These are the reference values for v2.2 deployed on 11 October 2026. The administrator can adjust them within the limits of the code in force (opening fees: maker ≤ taker ≤ 0.10%; closing fee: at most 0.10%; service: at most 0.20%) and every change is public on Base. Confirmation shows an estimate using the parameters available when it is prepared; a resting order pays the fees in force at each execution, which may change after signing. Accepting the terms does not freeze these figures; while the contracts are open, the administrator can also change the code itself. See [Security and contracts](https://docs.botradix.com/security-contracts/#funds-permissions-and-risks).

**Examples**

- Open a 1,000 USDC position with a market order: 0.60 USDC opening fee + 0.30 USDC service fee = 0.90 USDC.
- Open the same position with a limit order that was maker (checked against a valid price and left resting): 0.30 USDC + 0.30 USDC = 0.60 USDC.
- Close it: 0 USDC in protocol fees. Your result is settled with the funding accrued.

## Network gas

Base gas cost varies with the network and the ETH price; it is usually small, but there is no guaranteed fixed USD amount.

| Paid by the protocol (no ETH needed) | Paid by your wallet in ETH |
|---|---|
| Opening, closing and inverting positions with your trading key | Classic withdrawals sent from your wallet |
| TP/SL edits (up to 200 per day) and cancel/replace | BAQ deposits |
| USDC deposits with a permit signature | USDC deposits with approval + deposit |
| Keeper executions, auto-deleveraging and liquidations | Revoking authorizations from your wallet |
| Isolated-margin changes with your trading key (add, withdraw, change leverage) | TP/SL edits beyond 200 per day |
| Withdrawals by signature | Exit actions from BaseScan |
| Granting or revoking the execution permission by signature | |

The protocol funds its gas from a USDC budget fed by part of the vault's fee income.

## Execution permission

Resting limit and stop orders are executed later by the protocol keeper. To allow it, you grant an **execution permission** once (a free signature that the protocol submits for you; the website prepares it for 365 days by default and it can also be revoked with a free signature; it is not the same as accepting the terms). With it, each keeper execution of your resting orders, take profit or stop loss costs **0.10 USDC**, taken from your collateral, with a maximum of **10 USDC per day** (defaults; the cost can never exceed what your signature allows).

Without the permission, resting orders are not executed by the keeper, and take-profit or stop-loss executions are covered by the protocol at no charge to you.

## API and session executions

When you open or close positions through a signed intent (API v1 integrations or a trading session), the executor's network cost is charged in USDC from your collateral and shown beforehand in `execution.costs`.

## Bots

| Venue | BotRadix fee | Other costs |
|---|---|---|
| BotRadix DEX | None for the bot itself. Gas is included | DEX opening fees (including the 0.03% service fee) and funding. Minimum: the market's minimum plus a 0.5% buffer (with an 18 USDC market minimum, 18.09 USDC; the screen may round it to 18.10) |
| Hyperliquid | None | Hyperliquid's own trading fees and funding |
| Uniswap (Base) | A service fee defined in the BotRadix adapter contract | The pool fee of each swap, and price impact |

## Platform pricing

BotRadix has **no subscription and no performance fee**. Access to more bots and pairs is unlocked by holding BAQ (you keep your tokens; nothing is spent). See [BAQ](https://docs.botradix.com/baq/#access-tiers).
